Pedestalled Platter or Goblet no 2
(Shown here as Goblet)
This piece could have been
used either as a drinking goblet or as a small pedestalled platter; the latter is
the more likely as there is a leaf pattern decoration on the flat surfaces.
The stems have “baluster” mouldings enclosed by four outwardly
curved, square sectioned, rods.
Purchased from the proceeds of the raffle of a quilt made and donated by
the Lark Quilters.
