Late Roman Coin Hoards
These coins are some of two hoards, buried for safe keeping during the troubles of the late fourth century AD as the Roman occupation of Britain was drawing to a close. The Mildenhall Treasure dates from about the same time. There are about 40 of these coins all on display in the museum.
