Bacchic Platter no.1 

One of a matching pair of small platters.  Pan can be seen holding a shepherd’s crook and playing a syrinx whilst a Maenad plays a double flute.  At the top is a reclining water nymph whilst lower down a fawn or doe investigates a snake.
